Through our holistic approach to speech therapy and our commitment to multilingualism and cultural sensitivity, we strive to break down linguistic barriers, foster empathy, and build a more harmonious society where communication is a bridge, not a barrier.
About:
At Sol Speech Therapy, we are a passionate team dedicated to helping individuals of all ages achieve their full potential in communication and overcome the challenges they face. Led by our founder, Natalie Nunez, M.S. CCC-SLP, we bring a wealth of expertise and a commitment to evidence-based practice to every therapy session. Our speech-language pathologists (SLPs) are experienced in evaluating and treating pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a variety of settings, including private practices, public school districts, acute care hospitals, and specialized schools.
We take pride in being a neurodiversity-affirming practice. This means that we recognize, respect, and celebrate the unique neurological differences each individual brings. We understand that neurodiversity encompasses a broad spectrum of cognitive and sensory variations, and we tailor our therapeutic approaches to align with each client’s unique needs and preferences. Our therapists are trained to support a variety of neurodiverse conditions with empathy and an open mind, fostering an environment where clients feel valued and understood.
Our approach includes targeting practical intervention strategies that are designed to support the carryover of skills into daily life. We focus on creating meaningful and contextually relevant therapy goals that ensure clients can apply what they learn in therapy to real-world situations. This practical focus helps bridge the gap between therapy and everyday activities, enhancing the likelihood of sustained progress and functional success.
Our specialization includes working with expressive and receptive language disorders/delays, articulation/phonological disorders, feeding/swallowing, social communication, autism spectrum disorders, aphasia, fluency, dysarthria, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), cognitive-communication disorders, and traumatic brain injuries.
